Create a new wallet, or restore an existing one if you prefer to. If you need help on the creation of a wallet, we have made a step-by-step guide here.
Go in Settings > My profile > Register, choose an authentication mode then provide an email address on which you will receive notifications about your transactions.
Registering allows to buy sats by bank transfer up to CHF1,000 per day and CHF4,000 per month.
To buy sats above these limits or to buy sats by card, you will need to identify. For more info, please see our support page.
Switch to the Lightning network by using the menu on the top left of the screen or in the app's Settings, then choose "sat".
Once you are on the sat screen, click on the "Add" button.
Choose the purchase method by selecting the "Bank account" or "Card" tab. You can then choose to buy sats in 19 different fiat currencies. Select one of them, enter a purchase amount, and you will see our all-inclusive exchange rate.
By default, your receiving address is your Bridge Wallet address. You can also receive your sats directly on another address. To do so, you will need to link it first to your profile, here is how to do it.
If you have chosen to buy sats by bank transfer, you will see here our bank account information. Follow the instructions to make your bank transfer, and you will receive a notification as soon as we receive it. See "Bank transfer times" for more info.
If you have chosen to buy sats by card, enter your card details and confirm. Please note that once your payment has been confirmed, your sats can take from several minutes up to several hours to be delivered on your wallet. See "Delivery time of card purchases" for more info.
No, there is no minimum amount required to buy sats with Mt Pelerin.

We deliver your sats on your wallet shortly after we receive your payment. We do so as fast as possible on a best effort basis and it usually takes from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on various factors (liquidity, network congestion, etc.). Deliveries are processed automatically most of the time, but can be held for manual review by our compliance team. In such cases, manual reviews are done during office hours from Monday to Friday.
The exchange rate applied is the best market rate that we can obtain at the moment when we receive your payment, unless your purchase requires extra compliance steps. In such case, the exchange rate is applied when those steps have been completed.
Yes, the bank coordinates and transfer reference that you get in our interface to purchase sats don't change for a given fiat currency and receiving address. Therefore, you can use them to setup standing orders (recurring bank transfers) to automate your Bitcoin investment on Lightning with the amount and frequency of your choice, a strategy also known as DCA (dollar-cost averaging).
Yes, you can use accounts from neo banks like Revolut, N26, etc., to buy sats with us.
No, you cannot use a Paypal account to purchase sats with our service, as a bank transfer from a Paypal account won't be labelled in your name.
No, transfers to buy sats must come from a bank account that belongs to you and that is labelled in your name.
No, you can only purchase sats for yourself. However, once they are on your wallet you are free to transfer them to whoever you want.
Yes, you can purchase sats from a joint bank account as long as your are one of the owners of that account.
