In this tutorial, we show you how to verify a wallet address and link it to your Mt Pelerin user profile. A linked address allows you to:
If not already done, you first need to register with us. You can do so:
On our website
On our web interface, click on the person icon on the top right of the widget, do the SMS code verification and provide an email address.
In Bridge Wallet
Download and install the app, then create or restore a wallet. Go in the user menu and choose one of the available authentication modes to create your user profile.
Go to our web interface, choose to buy, swap or sell Bitcoin and click on the green button to continue.
On the "Receiving address" screen, choose the Ledger or Trezor option (or click "Connect another wallet" if you already have an address), then approve the signature request that will appear on your hardware wallet.
Make sure that your hardware wallet is updated, properly connected to your computer, unlocked and opened on the Bitcoin app/account.
Go to our web interface, choose to buy, swap or sell Bitcoin and click on the green button to continue. On the "Receiving address" screen, choose the Add manually option (or click "Connect another wallet" if you already have an address), then enter your Bitcoin address.
You will then receive a message that you will need to run through the signing function of a Bitcoin wallet that supports signing messages, such as BlueWallet, Electrum or Trezor.
Copy the signature result in your wallet, and paste it in the "Signature" field of our interface.
You will need to make what is called a satoshi test, which is a transaction with a tiny amount of BTC (a fraction of a cent) sent from the address that you want to link to our verification address. Make sure to send the exact amount indicated, as it is a unique code required for our system to automatically detect and validate your transaction.
